21 March 6–7:30 pm Destin Library, 150 Sibert Ave, Destin Munitions disposal: A threat to public health? Eglin Air Force Base uses open detonation to dispose of old munitions from military bases across the Panhandle. The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering & Medicine says there are better, safer ways to get the job done. Find out who is at risk and why. The meeting is free and open to the public.

9–10 Apr All day Four Points by Sheraton Tallahassee Downtown, 316 W Tennessee St, Tallahassee LWVFL Lobby Day 2019: Network with League members from across the state. Meet with your legislators. Cap off the event at the annual Gala! Register to attend.
13 April 11:00 am–3:00 pm Liza Jackson Park, 338 Miracle Strip Parkway SW, Fort Walton Beach Celebrate Earth Day and Drive Electric Earth Day: There will be musical entertainment and vendors supporting threatened and endangered species, recycling, hybrid vehicles, solar energy, water education, plastic pollution and more at this free event.
27 April 10:00 am–2:00 pm Topsail Hill Preserve State Park (7525 West Scenic Highway 30A, Santa Rosa Beach Celebrate Earth Day: There will be nature activities, games, face painting and booths as well as music and fun. Attendees will plant trees on park property as part of the #Trees4Earth campaign. Park admission is free during the event.
