Governor
Attorney General

Commissioner of Agriculture
State Senator, District 2
State Representative

Welcome

Use the quick links above left to navigate quickly to the races that affect you.

Four State Executive Branch offices are up for grabs in November. We don’t cover those races in detail, but we have included all the candidates below, with links to their campaign websites (if available) and other websites where you can do your own research. Additionally, one Florida Supreme Court Justice and five Judges from the Florida First Circuit Court of Appeals are up for merit retention. Use the “Judiciary” link at the top of the page to review those individuals.

League was late sending out its candidate questionnaire to the qualified State Senate (District 2) and State Representative (Districts 3 & 4) candidates, so we are publishing the E-Voter before receiving replies. We will publish candidate responses as soon as they are received, so voters can compare the candidates’ views, opinions, priorities and goals if elected or re-elected. You can click on a candidate’s name right now to be connected to the appropriate campaign website. We have also included some links below each candidate’s name where you can find more information.

WSRE’s 2018 General Election Candidate Rally will be broadcast on Monday, 29 October, at 7:00 pm on Cox Channel 8 and satellite channel 15.

What do you see as the top issues affecting our state and District 3 in the next four years?

Everything is at stake this election for all Floridians! It is imperative that we finally have a representative that is willing to stand up for EVERY citizen in district 3 and not just a selected few. Most incumbent politicians are working for corporate interests. They could not care less about those that elected them, which is us, hard working citizens! We struggle and struggle and it’s just getting worse.

To sum it up, the top issue affecting Florida, other than keeping our waters clean, common sense gun control, healthcare, opioid crisis, affordable housing and taking care of our veterans, is whatever it is that my constituents think is affecting them! I want to hear from you because that is my job!

Why do you want to serve as our State Representative, and why are you the best choice?

I chose to run for state representative in District 3 because we, the people, need a voice. Our state government has done nothing to make our citizens great; they only care about the money they make from tourism and corporate interests. It’s never been about us. I am your best choice because I am one of YOU! I am an electrician helper, I work 40+ hours per week. I have never had anything handed to me and I am not rich by any means! I am barely surviving to get my name out for this election. I have worked and struggled my entire adult life, raising two daughters on my own and I still struggle today. I don’t want my children and grandchildren to have to continue in this path. It must stop now. I am your voice and the hope that you have been needing. Help Me, Help You!

If elected, what is your top priority for your term?

My top priority is whatever it is that my constituents want me to take to the table for them! I promise to listen and do whatever deemed necessary to fight for District 3. We have everything from farmland to our beautiful waters at stake! Every person will have something different that they need me to voice for them. I will do my best to see that every voice is heard!

What are your qualifications for office?

I have had a life time experience that I believe qualifies me to work for the people of Florida, from raising babies to fine young women, to experiencing how healthcare affects our loved ones on a daily basis, watching lives shattered and becoming homeless, watching our beloved veterans’ suicide rate skyrocket and nothing but corrupt politicians promising to fix it, which never happens. They tell us what we want to hear until they are elected. I'm tired of being their fool. I'm exhausted with that road and I know you are as well.

I have 2 1/2 years of college, majoring in psychology but was unable to finish my degree because I worked 2–3 jobs (still hope to receive my degree one day). I have much common sense and compassion for others and I look forward to hearing from you soon after November 6th! There is NOTHING I am afraid to tackle in our state government for you. If it will help you, then it will help many, many others in District 3 as well. God Bless Us ALL!!!
